Spring Yellow into Your Landscape Plans

Monrovia's Yumi™ (Beauty) Itoh Peony - Intersectional Peony - Image/Bilowz Associates Inc.
As mentioned in yesterday's post, Marathon Spring, one of the great choices for your foundation plantings - Peonies. This Intersectional hybrid is a must-add beauty for your list, especially if you're a big spring yellow fan. For those on a plant budget, many of the choice Peonies can be a tad pricey. But as mentioned yesterday, it's a long-lasting perennial so the investment is definitely worth it. And one more typical for the yellow blossom lover, which is a bit less expensive but still offers that same dash of spring cheeriness. Don't forget your Daffodils. There's nothing that says spring like Daffodils in an April rain. Make your foundation planting be a welcome mat - plant yellow and bring cheery in.
