Whether it's loads of green foliage with hints of soft pink Daylily blossoms (add
an accent lantern to define the backdrop...)
|
|
Or try this striking combination of the Red Castor Bean
Plant with Crocosmia 'Lucifer'. Not for the faint at heart.

If one takes the color scheme down a notch, the softer hues of pinks and purples might fit your style. Try a perennial Geranium with Walkers Low Catmint. Swap out Lavender for the Catmint. It's not as robust but Lavender and all its wonderful scent and uses is a must for any garden.

And then there's this David Austin Rose, Graham Thomas is its name, that takes color to a new level...Graham Thomas' soft peach color is subtle but still stunning. Want to combine this Rose with something else? Take a peek below. Wouldn't this Lily be a perfect match to combine with Graham Thomas? But both can also showcase independently well, each on their own.

Now onto that Lily - if you like form and color this Asiatic Lily 'Chianti' takes up its own real estate. Despite that the Japanese beetles love to munch on its leaves, the flower is worthy. Don't you just love its own color combination of pink and yellow? Plus these Lilies are fetching in a vase. Cut them closed up and watch them blossom indoors.

And as seen earlier this week on our Facebook
Page, when July rolls around, the garden color combinations really light
up. It's like the garden's own 4th of July natural fireworks.
