A Bee in a Cosmos Moment |
This bee nestled in the center of a Cosmos blossom reminds me on this #WordlessWednesday that some #InTheMoment
images aren't meant to be captured but a 'take it all in, enjoy; just be' moments instead. This insect hanging out in the flowering
Cosmos wanted to bee the one caught on camera this AM. But here's the bee sting of the story. Camera-less on this morning's cycle, a spectacular rainbow came out of nowhere. What a pleasant and #InTheMoment surprise until I realized I could only watch as the rainbow stretched its 'larger than life' colorful indentation against the still
stormy but sunlit sky. Meshed with fall's foliage and a canvas backdrop of mountain
and lake, it was that picture-perfect, #InTheMoment but unfortunately a camera-missed pic. The bee sting of the story - sometimes we are just meant to be in awe and take it in.

Thich Nhat Hanh sums it
up best about ‘Bee-ing in a Cosmos Moment’.
“When we look deeply
into
the heart of a flower, we
see clouds, sunshine,
minerals, time, the earth,
and everything else
in the cosmos in it.
Without clouds there
could be no rain,
and without rain
there would be no flower.”

And of course, no rainbows so let me know if you were also one of the lucky ones that got to see that #InTheMoment rainbow today.
