Final Expectations in our Fall Garden |
As we wait and watch the final expectations of some of our favorites from our gardens, Roses included, one tip for the Rose lovers – don’t mulch and mound them too early. As has been mentioned in previous October blog posts, you need to wait until the temperatures drop and the Roses go fully dormant in order to make them winter hardy. And don’t forget to clean up any garden debris before you barrel into the ‘mulch and mound’ mode. Always go by your regional zone but until then, enjoy the beautiful foliage.
